The Trump administration has recalled the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine abruptly and ahead of her scheduled departure, after she became a target of political attacks by conservative media outlets and Donald Trump Jr. Democrats see her early departure under pressure as the unfair targeting of a career Foreign Service officer by Team Trump.
According to an internal State Department management notice that I obtained, U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch will leave her post permanently on May 20, with no replacement in place and no nominations to fill that position.
The House Democratic leadership thinks that Yovanovitch’s early departure under pressure is a clear sign that the White House [and] Trump allies have accused Yovanovitch of being part of a conspiracy that involves anti-corruption probes in Ukraine and efforts by the Trump team to investigate ties between Ukrainian officials and the Hillary Clinton campaign.
On March 24, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted that Yovanovitch was a “joker,” and he linked to an article in the Daily Wire headlined “Calls Grow To Remove Obama’s U.S. Ambassador To Ukraine.”
Four days before Don Jr.’s tweet, the Hill’s John Solomon published an interview with Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, who alleged that Yovanovitch had given him a “do not prosecute list,” ostensibly to protect Obama-Clinton allies, back in 2016.
Lutsenko also told Solomon that he would open up an investigation into allegations that the Ukrainian government helped the Clinton campaign in 2016.

There are a few reasons to question just what the transcript laid out. I wonder if the President of Ukraine speaks English and if there was the possibility that the 3-4 intelligence personnel who took the notes from the phone call just got things mixed up...
On page 4 (1st paragraph) reference is made by President Trump to “the former ambassador from the United States”
and in the 2nd paragraph same page, the President of Ukraine says, “with regard to the Ambassador to the United States from Ukraine as far as I recall her name was Ivanovich”..
WHO got that wrong? The note takers or the transcriber(s)?
3rd paragraph (same page) President Trump says “she’s going to go through some things.” Who’s “she” if it really was a “she” he was referring to.
There are things that make me question just WHO was in charge of this transcript after the notes were reviewed and became what was released this morning - one being: “their incredible people” instead of “they’re incredible people”.
Those are just a couple of the glaring things that stuck out to me as I skimmed through real fast but to me, it shouldn’t have been put together without a thorough review. If simple things were mistaken, who is going to trust the transcript? It should have been fool proof so the demon-rats can’t hang their hats on simple errors!
This connects the State Dept to the attempt to overthrow Trump.
And points the finger directly at Hillary Clinton
Over the next five years, there are going to be fewer and fewer swamp creatures in places of authority.
I'm glad Trump is looking into this. My guess is next year's October Surprise is going to be worth the 12 month wait.

That’s a double-edged sword. If they had gone through and edited the transcript, then the Dems would say they hadn’t gotten the original transcript and that Trump was trying to hide something.

And HOW would the demon-rats know that errors were corrected? I’m sure what I saw is not the way the conversation went so what would have been wrong to make it right?
