The White House on Wednesday released a transcript of President Trump’s July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showing him seeking a review of Biden family dealings in the country – but the document does not show Trump leveraging military aid as part of a quid-pro-quo, as Democrats have suggested in pressing forward with impeachment.
The transcript, declassified by Trump a day earlier, indicates the call – which Trump made from the White House residence -- took place July 25 from 9:03 a.m. to 9:33 a.m. It begins with the president congratulating Zelensky on his election victory, before Trump eventually broaches the subject former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
“There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great,” Trump said in the phone call. “Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it…It sounds horrible to me.”

Joe is just collateral damage. I believe this is about Hillary’s attempt to steal 2016. If the truth comes out, a lot more than Joe is going down.
Just checked in to MSNBC and CNN to see their take on the Trump transcript. Needless to say they are convinced that this is a smoking gun, proof of high crimes and misdemenors, etc. They see direct quid pro quo with military hardware for dirt on Biden. They see the new prosecutor Zel mentioned in the phone call as being appointed to investigate Biden for Trump. They are reading everything they want into this transcript. They are in an alternate reality.
You are absolutely wrong. There is no quid pro quo. President Trump did not offer anything to the Ukrainian president. The latter discussed what Ukraine was already doing. Our president asked for a favor in the context of both leaders trying to drain the corruption swamps in their countries.

Ukraine bringing up Biden’s son was trap bait for Trump. He should not have responded on that subject. The dems and media will spin it into more election foreign collusion. This will be hard to overcome.
