Warren edges past Biden in new national poll

Sen Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) edged past former Vice President Joe Biden in a new poll gauging support in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

Warren has the support of 27 percent of Democratic voters and independent voters who lean Democratic while Biden had 25 percent in the Quinnipiac survey released Wednesday.

Good for her. Her policies are more in line with the sweeping, socialist-style changes that the Dem base wants, including elimination of private insurance and massive taxation.

I watched the first hour of the last Dem debate.
In comparison of the two, Warren actually came off as a more reasonable and sane person. Bernie has gone completely off the deep end. His schtick is so 2/3 years ago.
Plus all those middle aged and old women that supported Hillary can identify with Warren.

I must wonder if the less radical (I won't call them moderate, they are at best Mensheviks) wing of the Democrats is not letting the loonies run the show. The Democrats always play dirty, back in 1960 when the Daley machine in Illinois and LBJ's henchmen in Texas ensured Nixon's defeat. With a really weak candidate, voter fraud won't move the needle sufficiently.

The plan is to let Warren crash and burn a la McGovern and Dukakis. The Democrats lose the House, and the loons in the chairmanships go down. Then they count on the 2022 cycle to retake one or both houses of Congress. Then in 2024, they bring out a moderate seeming poltician, like Carter or Bill Clinton, to run, possibly Kristen Sinema or Tulsi Gabbard.

It’s looking to me as if top-level Democrats know the jig is up and there’s no way they are gonna beat Trump next year.

So they’ll gin up this impeachment nonsense for two reasons:

1) Hamstring his agenda and slow him down any way they can.
2) Milk their STOOOOOOOPID radical donors for as many hundreds of millions as they can fleece from them.
