On Tuesday evening Nancy Pelosi made one of the most colossal blunders in the modern history of American electoral politics. Rejecting the accumulated wisdom of a long and successful career in the House of Representatives, she set aside her own instincts and announced the beginning of formal impeachment proceedings against President Trump on the basis of a third-hand rumor about a phone call with the president of a Eurasian republic.
Pelosi knows this will not be popular. She knows more than that. She knows that it will be a disaster for the Democratic Party, that it will inflame the president's base and inspire even his most lukewarm supporters with a sense of outrage.
She knows that in states like Michigan, upon which her party's chances in 2020 will depend, the question of impeachment does not poll well.
She knows, further, that Joe Biden will not be able to spend the next 14 or so months refusing to answer questions about the activities of his son, Hunter, in Ukraine, and that increased scrutiny of the vice president's record in office will not rebound to his credit. She and her fellow Democratic leaders had better hope that someone like Elizabeth Warren manages to steal the nomination away from him before this defines his candidacy the way that Hillary Clinton's emails and paid speechmaking did during and after the 2016 primaries.
Why? Because her hand has been forced. The same members of her caucus who have clamored for Trump's impeachment on the basis of his immigration policy, his non-existent collusion with Russian authorities during the last presidential election, and his ownership of various hotels have once again lighted upon high crimes and misdemeanors.

Congressional terms are two years. Pelozi is up for election next year along with all House members.

Honestly, I think Pelosi is playing this smart right now. If she’s got a bunch of batshit-crazy House members clamoring for impeachment, and she knows damn well that it is a political disaster for the Democrats, then it’s not a bad idea to get this on the House agenda now so it can be out of the news by Columbus Day and hopefully (for the Democrats) long forgotten by the time we get into election season in 2020.
She wants to tank the stock market and sour the economy.

This can only mean whomever informed the so-called whistle blower, illegally divulged classified information.
That whistle blower can be legally compelled to divulge their source and that person can be tried under the espionage act.
Trump should point out, every day, something that congress should be doing instead of wasting taxpayer money and their time trying to ‘get’ him.

maybe they’ll find a new candidate, someone with positive name and face recognition like possibly a sports or entertainment star .. (one who hasn’t made a fool of himself that is)
After watching SanFranNan’s news conference, it is obvious that over her summer vacation she had an eyebrow lift! Her eyebrows are at least 3 inches above her eyes!

The should also show the Interview where Biden says his Son never talked to him about his crooked Business dealings while his Son admitted that he did talk to him about it.

Fake News. Few will read the House Rules, but assigning an impeachment inquiry to six committees (Pelosi Remarks Announcing Impeachment Inquiry) is not the beginning of formal impeachment proceedings.
