Not necessarily sure about that. But you bring up a good point. Impeachment gives Trump an opportunity to perhaps double up on the wall and illegals and perhaps go after California in a big way.
Impeachment is going to keep the MSM occupied. He could do all sorts of things and it would hardly get reported
