I’m so sick of political B.S. If someone clearly does wrong, the party or left/right shouldn’t matter. If a Republican or conservative did what Biden did I’d expect him/her to be locked up or at least out of politics. Where is the integrity? Where is the honor? The only decent person in a political office I’m aware of is Sarah Palin, who went after corrupt Republicans in Alaska.

So.....Editors at National Review, thank you for finally taking the mask off and revealing your true colors. Never thought I would say this but you and your publication are utter garbage.

indeed, as the executive branch, it is incumbent upon trump to determine whether the bidens broke the law.

NeoCons will defend Ukrainian NeoNazis rather than our President. That sums it all up.

NR is National Trash.
They should be calling for an investigation of the Bidens.
Instead they enable it.
I hope they go belly up like the Weakly Standard.

Perfectly ok for the Biden’s to pressure Ukrainian law enforcement, and now other Democrats are threatening their support for Ukrainian foreign aid if they DARE investigate crooked Joe's son, but whoa! POTUS talking to a foreign leader to encourage law enforcement is “wrong” according to these guys.

Can’t stand these globalist lying SOBs. Every last stinking last one of them.
They wonder why NR is heading the way of Kristol’s Weekly Standard.

They can’t tell the truth even if it’s Joe Biden hitting them in the head with a corruption brick.

Hell no it wasn’t.

When our public officials and their families do something wrong, it’s up to our chief executive to make sure there’s a full airing.

Too bad Joe. Your son pooped in your bed. Get used to it. This isn’t over yet.

To have done so was wrong, plain and simple.

No, the President can make such requests on private calls. What was wrong and illegal is what Biden did, bribing foreign leaders to take action on a request or have U.S. funds withheld. Trump withheld no money nor did he make demands.

After initially denying it, the president has conceded that he encouraged Ukraine’s president to investigate corruption allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden, a leading candidate running against his reelection.

He conceded no such thing. He said that it came up in reference to corruption.

I wonder if NR would say he was right to do it if the President had done it before Bidet got in the race?

I believe this is a maneuver by Trump to trap the Democrats. The Democrats will demand that all the documents an all the transcripts be released. Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and half the Obama administration will be exposed. The whistle blower was a Trump plant. Well played Mister President.

National Disgrace Virtue Signaling again. This is nothing more than an attempt to seem thoughtful while slamming the president.

The president discussing the Biden’s corrupt acts with the Ukrainian leader is a perfectly valid thing to do. What Biden did was corrupt. Pure and simple and nothing can change this fact.

The Ukraine has been attempting to bring this to President Trumps attention for a long time and were stonewalled by the equally corrupt State Dept. hold overs.

Joe Biden, as Vice President of the United States, pressured the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor who was investigating why Hunter Biden was being paid $83,000 per month by a Ukrainian gas company. Joe gave the Ukrainian government six hours to fire the prosecutor. Failure to comply would have meant loss of one billion American dollars for the Ukrainians. They fired the prosecutor and they received the money.

The prosecutor confirmed in an interview that he believed that his investigation had been terminated because of Hunter Biden.

Considering that circumstance, it was appropriate if not obligatory for President Trump to inform the Ukrainians that the United States government no longer demanded that their investigation into Hunter Biden be blocked.
