This article is like a bad movie about a dystopian future where everything one says or does is controlled by the government. Enforcing a law against eating meat - how will it be done? Will there be air sniffers installed on every block to detect a steak in a broiler? Will there be anit-meat Wardens who, like their predecessors during the Blitz, patrol the neighborhood trying to catch someone enjoying a burger? Will a there be a trade in illegal meat products, and will it require a new law enforcement agency to root out those who would damage our ecosystems by raising cattle? The possibilities are endless but all lead to the same conclusion -an overreaching government controlling everything.
