Police officers receive very intensive (and expensive) training so they don’t fire their weapons nilly willy whenever they are “scared.” If this woman is found guilty... then she deserves to go to jail, no matter the color of anyone’s skin.
Still according the the psychologist who is in charge of all of California's prisons' mental care, fully half the candidates who failed their psych eval were ultimately hired as cops or prison guards.
