While I believe islam is more a virus than a religion, and doesn’t deserve 1st Amendment protection, what do you think should (not that it could happen) be done about islam here in the US?
I agree that Islam is a cult and political movement. But, they should still have 1st amendment speech rights just as any other controversial groups that seek to stifle liberty.
Now, I do agree that those individuals seeking admission to this country as immigrants who hold views inconsistent with the US constitution should not be granted residency or citizenship. But, those born here as U.S. citizens, even when they espouse anti-constutional views, should still be fully accorded their BOR and 1st amendment rights.
Why is this controversial now? It’s hard for me to believe that so many look favorably on an ends justifying the means argument.
watched extremely closely and deported immediately if born in another country and caught planning anything terrorist related.
