How about cutting power to San Francisco?
Electric cars found on side of road tow truck drivers happy.
Shut it off where the State Capitol building is...
DO IT!
NO Notice. Just pull the Breaker.
Let ‘em Crash!
PG&E: Turning California into Venezuela. Recently I told them in a letter: “Weather happens ... been happening for a long time. Just fix your damn wires!”
No problem. Just flip the switch to green power. /s
Damned if they do, damned when a fire happens if they don’t.
That utility is in a lose-lose situation legally. It’s a trial lawyers dream. They get clients who want to sue ‘cause their power was shut off, and clients who want to sue when a fire occurs and the utility had not shut off the electricity.
Who created these conditions? It’s the the Democrats, who are also the given most generous donations from the trial lawyers.
Someone has some common sense.!!
Just how many times do you have to SUE to get your attention.
Ok, sue ME for the fires and I will make sure my ‘product’ NEVER can be accused.
Now when the fire season starts and the ELECTRIC PUMPS don’t work, CA will sue because there is no power.
What a ‘terrible’ web we weave....
Customers can check here for updates on when power would be restored if it is shut off, but PG&E said people should also be receiving automated phone calls, texts and emails.
That's swell! Because none of those means of communication require electricity, do they?
Shut of the water and let it burn.
They wouldn’t have to do this if they were allowed to maintain their Right Of Ways. But thanks to the insane environmental regulations in the state, they can’t.
Wow.
How long has PG&E been doing this? Is this a politically correct inconvenience to customers associated with politically correct global warming?
A Catch-22.. when the wind blows, the power goes out.. A new California Low.. and when the bird hits the fan of a wind turbine that is not shutdown, well. Stuff happens.

LOL! (too bad all cell towers have a back-up genset)
My in laws live in Placer County. I love them but this is what they voted for.

I doubt it. Those sparsely populated, beautiful rural counties are heavily Republican, and are essentially voiceless in how the state govt is run.
