Yup. Trees are alive, like us.

They live, grow, then get old and die.

We can use them and plant more. Responsible timber cutters have done so for decades.

The idea that old growth is better than new growth is insane. Old growth is static, in decay, waiting to die. It’s beyond mature. elderly.

Not only Old Growth trees but all trees...they fall down, sometimes. Before they burn... Wreck your house or , get hit by lightning and cause a fire..Take the wires out. try taking on the Unelected Conservation Commission!
