I don't think knocking off a buck from a $33 million settlement is going to form much of a scab, Perfesser. "The community" consists of both town and gown when it's convenient for the latter. Oberlin administrators and students trying to shut down a family bakery was the assault on "the community", and for real healing to take place I'd recommend doubling the award.
