With all the problems in the world, Democratic presidential candidates are focusing on meat.
During a climate change forum hosted by MSNBC on Thursday, longshot candidate Andrew Yang was asked by an audience member about what policy adjustments hed make to curb expansion and reduce the environmental impact of the cattle industry in order to reduce demand.
Cattle is very energy-consuming and energy-expensive. And if you project forward on what we would need to do to reduce emissions, you would want to modify Americans diets over time, Yang said.
And they vote. More than once.
Notice how EVERY SINGLE SOLUTON to Global Warming/Climate Change/Climate Emergecy/[latest scary name] is an increase in taxes, lowering your standard of living and giving government more control over your life?
Everything old is new again: “Carbon Credits” = modern day indulgences granted by the Church of Gaia.
If we ever get to this point, I seriously see an insurrection in our future.
And the first ones to go will be the ones in the pointy white hats.
Wouldn’t it be great if every presidential candidate promised to run the country and put forth regulations according to their personal beliefs? Climate change experts certainly fit this train of thought.
Quaker - no military
Seventh Day Adventist - vegetarians
LDS - ???? Many wives???
Others elude me right now but I’m sure there are some who would put restrictions on the rest of us for their personal pleasure. What a world!
I was stuck on a plane the other day for 11 hours....Amsterdam to LAX. Only thing on their viewing menu I hadn’t seen was The Handmaid’s Tale. So I watched the first 6 or 7 episodes. The libs are using it as a slur against conservatives because the powers that be are religious but what I saw was the perfect example of a liberal fascist, hypocritical rule. It’s a perfect example of how they want to have total control over everything we do and say.
Projection is their strong suit.............
