KYIV—Ukraine is ready to investigate the connections Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden had with the Ukrainian natural-gas company Burisma Holdings, according to Anton Geraschenko, a senior adviser to the country’s interior minister who would oversee such an inquiry.
Geraschenko told The Daily Beast in an exclusive interview that “as soon as there is an official request from the Trump administration, we’ll look into it,” but “currently there is no open investigation.”
“Clearly,” said Geraschenko, “Trump is now looking for kompromat to discredit his opponent Biden, to take revenge for his friend Paul Manafort, who is serving seven years in prison.” Among the counts on which Manafort was convicted: tax evasion. “We do not investigate Biden in Ukraine, since we have not received a single official request to do so,” said Geraschenko.
His remarks last week came amid widespread speculation that U.S. President Donald Trump had made vital U.S. military aid for Ukraine contingent on such an inquiry, but had tried to do so informally through unofficial representatives, including his lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Giuliani’s adviser on Ukraine, Sam Kislin.

Three House committees on Monday began investigating reported efforts by President Donald Trump and his personal lawyer,
Rudy Giuliani, to pressure the government of Ukraine to probe the dealings of Hunter Biden.
Democrats say the Trump/Giuliani effort is meant "to assist” Trump’s re-election campaign.
Giuliani has repeatedly urged Ukraine to probe former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter,
who had lucrative business connections and a $50,000 a month position
with a Ukraine gas company AT THE SAME TIME Obama and VP Biden controlled a billion dollars in Ukraine aid.
VP Joe Biden was caught on tape bragging that he strong-armed Ukraine officials to "call Obama"
to confirm the billion dollar US aid cancellation, if they didnt can the guy investigating his son.
At the time, Obama was also crafting US foreign policy, as Hunter began associating
with intl figures about whom the US or its ally nations were suspicious.

Why should Trump have to ask?
Its their country, if Biden’s son broke their laws, its their decision to prosecute or not.
if I was Trump my answer would be:
“Its your country, your laws, your decision!”

Its good to remember that, in the end, Biden is a mere vice-president with no power. Just as Hillary was a mere SecState who could do nothing without the prior authority of the president.
So if the Chinese, or Ukrainians, or Russians, are bribing someone with no power, what would be the point unless some of that money leaks back into the responsible person’s pockets? Or, more likely, there is another pot of money for the responsible party.
Because Uranium One isn’t really Hillary’s deal, its Obama’s deal. Buresma isn’t really Biden’s deal, its Obama’s deal. And China’s billions aren’t really buying Biden’s good graces (and Kerry’s, lets not forget his son is involved...) its Obama’s good graces that are required.
Trump doesn’t have to take the bait. But he also doesn’t have to do business with Ukraine. They bought the previous administration, not his. He seriously should not deliver on anything, not military assistance, not diplomatic assistance, nothing. He should not meet with their representatives.
By going public with this issue, they are soiling the nest. So he should go public, not demanding an investigation, but just detailing what happened. And leave it there.
Indeed Joe must have made a deal with the Ukes again.

We’ll just have to wait and see how this hand plays out, because I don’t think Geraschenko plays this kind of poker as well as Trump does.
