Is it your position that the US has no interest in ensuring the free flow of oil from the Gulf, which supplies 20+% of the world’s oil?

The U.S. may have an “interest” in it, but it sure as hell isn’t a compelling one.

Calling the “free flow of oil from the [Persian] Gulf” a critical U.S. interest is ludicrous when we have Federal courts issuing rulings to stop the free flow of oil right here in the U.S.

Sure it is.

Until gas is $6/gal in Houston, our allies are crushed and our exports are down 30%.

And Iran is in possession of that 20% supply, fueling their military ambitions.
