President Donald Trump on Thursday sued Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, who subpoenaed eight years of Trump's personal and corporate tax returns earlier this month.

The subpoena stems from Vance's criminal investigation into the Trump Organization about payments made to two women who have alleged affairs with the president. The president has strongly denied the affairs. NBC News

I’m so sick of these Presidential harassers. Good for President Trump for fighting back. There is nothing in his tax returns and he has nothing to hide. Still they persist on harassing our President. They should be thrown In jail for what they’re doing to him.

Our great and wonderful president has been dealing with the scum of the earth in Manhattan for his entire adult life

this is nothing new for him and he probably has the best lawyers on the planet and he doesn’t mess around

The big enchilada was the Russian hoax and he carefully let that thing run its course until we had the a pitta me of mule head showing up and looking like a complete utter doofus dumber than Biden and that really capped it

If Trump had ever been stupid enough to fire Mueller they would’ve screamed “Saturday night massacre” from the hills in impeached him

Spineless loser Republicans would’ve gone along

They’ve tried to just push it under the rug but the FISA reports and all the other stuff is slowly boiling under the surface

Trump always plays the long game and we’re going to see a lot of stuff go down next year which is of course an election year

Michael Cohen, admitted in August of last year to making the illegal payment to Daniels in order to keep her quiet in the days ahead of the 2016 election.

Nothing like prejudging the legality of a matter. Such payment is not denied, the point is it was perfectly legal.

Which goes to show how stupid Michael Cohen is...pleading guilty to a non-crime and going to prison for same.

I agree completely. Trump is far from perfect, but he doesn’t just sit back and take it on the chin. He fights back.

Sometimes crudely. Sometimes profanely. Sometimes unwisely.

But he fights back.

And against scum like the Left in this country, that makes up for a lot.

1. Paying persons to be quiet about possible unsavory but legal consensual relationships is not illegal. As long as the relationships are not illegal in the first place, there is no crime in it.

2. Since that is the case with Trump, then it matters not that he personally made any such payments, whether or not at any time he was also campaigning for elected office, provided the funds came from him and not from his campaign treasury.

3. The test on the second point is whether or not Trump has a case that can be made from his personal history that suggests such payments would likely have been made - to help protect his public image - even in the absence of any political campaign. I am certain Trump can make that case.

Vance does not have a case. He merely has a cause, a political cause, and that cause is simply “keep negative Trump stories churning”.

They had Cohen on some banking violations. Of course they went after him because of Trump. Sane with Manafort. The Deep State wanted them to bear false witness. They succeeded a bit with Cohen.

I guess that makes sense. His POC father helped lay the foundation for the misery of millions in the Middle East under the Islamic fist.

From what I understand, Cohen pleaded guilty to this non-crime to avoid a longer sentence for crimes he did commit.

Cy Jr. was behind the lawsuit against a small bank in Chinatown and -lost-.

CHINATOWN, NY – A documentary about a small Chinatown bank — the only bank to face criminal prosecution in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis — is up for an Academy Award, one of five documentaries vying for the honor at Sunday’s awards show.

The acclaimed documentary, “Abacus: Small Enough To Jail,” follows the story of the Sung family, an immigrant family from China that opened Abacus Federal Savings in Chinatown. Abacus was the only U.S. bank that faced criminal charges after the 2008 financial crisis.

Manhattan district attorney Cy Vance accused the bank of mortgage fraud, launching a five-year legal battle before (documentary spoiler alert) the family-owned bank was eventually found not guilty in 2015.
