The whistleblower complaint that has triggered a tense showdown between the U.S. intelligence community and Congress involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the former officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
It was not immediately clear which foreign leader Trump was speaking with or what he pledged to deliver, but his direct involvement in the matter has not been previously disclosed. It raises new questions about the president’s handling of sensitive information and may further strain his relationship with U.S. spy agencies. One former official said the communication was a phone call.

The President SETS foreign policy, and the intel community has no standing to sit in judgement of any promise he makes. To restore our freedom, America will one day have to deal with the power-mad intel community that has attacked America like a parasite.

Ok.. as I see it, They killed JFK. Ford was on the Warren commission...becomes President. Bush fresh from the CIA is foisted on Reagan as veep and then becomes President. After Bush I came Clinto, his handmaiden from the Mena coke/Contra training operation. After Clinton, we get Bush II. After Bush, we get Obama who made trips to Pakistan when Americans couldn’t go there. His Ivy education was paid for by Saudi money. He massively expanded and protected the intel community.
So by my math, since JFK we have had a person strongly associated with the JFK murder or the CIA in general as President or vice president for 44 of the 53 years from 1963 till 2016. Hillary was supposed to be next, and when she was outsmarted, the intel community utterly freaked out.
There is no other conclusion. The intel community sets policy now, and is safe beyond government control. They install leaders, spy on Congress (including the intel oversight committee!) They spy on the Presidency and place several moles in the White House, and face zero consequences.
And they really -hate- that you have an effective rifle.

No department in the Executive branch has the authority to countermand or formally question the actions of the President in his duties as head of the armed forces or as the absolute and final authority in foreign affairs. If Obama wants to give a billion dollars to the Iranian Imam no one in his administration can tell him not to do it. This is a constitutional, not an administrative issue. Nor does any minion in any department if te executive branch have unilateral authority to discuss executive matters with the legislative branch. Sorry pencil neck.
