Saudi Arabia displayed remnants of what it described as Iranian drones and cruise missiles used in an attack on Saudi oil facilities as “undeniable” evidence of Iranian aggression.

Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said a total of 25 drones and missiles were launched at two oil plants in last weekend’s strikes, including what he identified as Iranian Delta Wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and “Ya Ali” cruise missiles.

We still know nothing about the number of casualties. That is very odd.

The Saudis are good at using their wealth to infiltrate other countries, including the USA, by building mosques and buying politicians. Nothing more. Of course, they also are good at covering over the problems in their own country by blaming all that is wrong on the Israelis. Although Israel has been classified as the enemy since its founding, the Israelis have been good neighbors, even when the Saudis and the other Gulf States have funded anti-Israel hatred and terror. If, as the Saudis say, the attacks were launched by Iran, and I have no doubt that was the origin, then it is up to the Saudis, not the USA or any other country, to protect their assets and people. I hope the President does not allow us to spend our blood and money to protect them. Clearly, they would not return the favor.

The US has the entire gulf covered with the most advanced radars in the world, in addition to airborne UAVs 24x7 with IR sensors with at least a 500nm range.

And satellite coverage with advanced sensors.

We have two large airbases in the region and several ships.

US forces absolutely detected a launch of this size and magnitude.

I think POTUS is being coy. He needs our Gulf “allies” to wake up to the reality of their precarious position. They fear war with Iran because they know Iran can shut down their production.

Trump just showed them Iran will do it anyway.

Any weapons you give to Muslims will eventually be used on you.

Didn’t we learn anything from the Mujhahadeen in Afghanistan?

Are they not America’s number one buyer of combat planes? Do they have pilots for those?

the one thing the Saudis have is M-O-N-E-Y. Why not work out a deal with Iran. $500 billion to make the Yemen rebels an offer they can't refuse.

Trump got his buildings built on time with minor headaches because he often had to bribe or payoff the mafia hoodlums who ran so much of NYC construction and carting. You do what you have to do for peace. This is why we elected a businessman as president.

Not true by a mile. What is more true is the modern Saudi regimes have no battleground experience against any foe they are a more equal match too, like Iran. They need to take some lessons from Israel when it comes to Iran.

Saudi Arabia has to deal with Saudi Arabia’s response to an attack on their homeland.

They cannot permit it to go unanswered. The US sanctions have nothing to do with Saudi’s response. They are masters of intrigue, so I expect an assassination or two.

They're getting their butts kicked by Yemeni rebels, so the 'no battlefield experience' argument is moot.
