Last week I told you about Marianne Williamson, one of the only Democrats who's even remotely likable as a human being, complaining about the cruelty of the political left in America. In her own words: "What does it say that the conservatives are nicer to me?"

This is absolutely, positively, 100% true. Lefties are awful, especially to women. No insult is too cruel. No lie is too insane. Anything goes. Then lefties project their own behavior onto their political opponents, and congratulate themselves for condemning it. They're lunatics. Whereas conservatives, who don't agree with Williamson's policies at all, are decent to her because she seems like an okay person. They're able to separate the person from the politics. Most of them are capable of that, anyway.
But Williamson wants the votes of the people who hate her because she's standing in the way of Sanders or Warren or one of those other kooks. So now Williamson is backpedalling. Paul Crookston, Washington Free Beacon:

She claimed she meant that conservatives see her as "godless," not that she understands why they see the left in general as godless.

Any recording of the alleged comment were no doubt hacked and altered by the RNC to make her look worserer.
To say the left was “as mean” doesn’t mean the right would be “nicer”. They could be equally as mean.

And should not be nominated to anything. I do wish her well in pursuing a less combative carreer.
It doesn’t matter. She’s known from the start that she will never be the nominee. She’s in this to generate some additional publicity and name recognition for herself. After she drops out, she’ll go on book tours and speaking engagements billed as “former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson”, receiving a higher speaker’s fee than what she was able to get in the past.
Yep, they think it adds credibility and perhaps $$$. Otherwise, why would absolute total losers like Gillibrand or Swalwell even attempt it.
Well, she will be more “flexible” after her Election I’m sure.
A few phone calls and a horse head in her bed maybe?

“Self-worshiping” I think is more apt. I’ve heard too many of them confuse their personal feelings and desires for universal moral truths. Witness the daily proliferation of newly discovered “rights” and newly-forbidden words and behaviors.
The progressives, on the other hand, drink from a poisoned well and have become addicted to dying, while at the same time being trapped in a dying body.
This gives them an envious hostility toward life and to the Source of life, so it’s no wonder they are intolerantly hostile to those who embrace and embody life.
These hostile, trapped and dying souls are the demonrat party.
They are the party of death.

I think Williamson is very much like my wife , a genuinely nice caring and compassionate classic liberal type individual
You know we care about the poor and downtrodden and the homeless and those that are oppressed by the system and so on and so forth
what she doesn’t realize is the Marxist bomb throwing left has completely taken over the party and the zealots that they’re en gendered much like the third Reich did with the Hitler youth in terms of this climate change nonsense have completely taken over the party
there really is no room anymore for moderates blue dog Democrats reasonable nice liberals or anything like that anymore and they will just viciously attack and get them out of the way had just as much is they will Republicans

Disagree with the cabal and sleep with the fishes. The left is becoming a closed cult, spoiling for a revolution. Hopefully, America will recognize this before we are looking at a full blown in the streets, tribal war of secession or a not so bloodless coup attempt.
