There seemed a great effort not to release names/ identities of the perps
Obvious to me this scenario doesn’t fit in with Beto and the gun grabbers.

Some states actually require a homeowner to flee if a burgler breaks in. Now that might not necessarily be a bad idea, depending on the circumstances, as every situation is different. But to codify retreat as a requirement into the laws is intolerable.
