The last one, held in April, looked like a victory for Netanyahu and his right-wing Likud party. But when Netanyahu failed to get enough support from smaller parties to form a government, he was forced to call new elections. So here we are.
The polling for the new election is too close to call. Likud is locked in a tight race with the centrist Blue and White party, which is leading the opposition. The ultimate outcome depends on a lot of things that are really hard to predict, ranging from minor party vote share to post-election parliamentary haggling.

Yes still listed as outstanding and yet to be allocated. Those seats will decide the makeup of the next government.
Israel does not have absentee voting for those out of the country.
I believe they have in the past, but not now, although there have been several recent attempts to allow absentee voting.
Which parties are included in that Likud right wing block? Does that include the religious parties? Lieberman won’t join a coalition with them, either. Looks like his party has 10 seats. What is the Likud number, in the mid 30’s?
Patiently waiting for a BiBi win....knowing full well that it’s God who raises up leaders according to His plans for the nations and the World.

Right now Likud is at 31, Blue and White 32.
Ditto. I believe there WAS a reason that we had Obama. “Ours is not to reason why-——”.
Where you get that information from?
Right now, I dont believe there are meaningful raw vote totals.
From the way party spokesmen are acting, the Left has the upper hand, but isnt quite over the top. Liberman could support Left, and Gantz is talking to the Arab party.
Meanwhile, there are rumors of Likud desertions to a unity government, and talk in the Likud of a third election.
Its going to take the nearly final actual vote count, which is not going to be known for hours, or even a day or two.
Check this out. Bibi calling for unity government?
You know this will happen IF Bibi loses.
keep lots of strong drink near and when you wake up it will be old news already
third party fetishists take note. this is what multiparty democracy looks like; chaos.
Here’s how to follow Israeli elections in general for those of you who didn’t pay attention in the past.
Jerusalem - their version of Waukesha county - will count their ballots fastests.
Then Tel Aviv - their version of Fairfax county - will count next
Then Arab areas - their version of Miami-Dade - will count the last.
So as of 12:40AM Eastern,
Jerusalem (Waukesha) - completed counting
Tel-Aviv (Fairfax) - many votes left to count
Arab Area (Miami-Dade) - haven’t started yet.
So it will come fairly close to the exit poll in my opinion.

Not good for Bibi!

Me to. Anything?
Ayelet IS easy on the eyes! Unfortunately for you, gentlemen, she has 2 kids and is married to an Air Force fighter pilot. She is interesting though, shes half Iraqi, her dad immigrated from there, shes one of more than a million Israelis whose families came from the Islamic world ( no, they are NOT going back to Poland). Shes a big fan of Alexander Hamilton, Alexis de Toqueville and Ayn Rand. Despite her personal secularity, she sees herself as a strong defender of the Israeli religious communities.
