It figures CNN would make a stupid assessment like that. These civilizations in the middle east have been fighting over land since starting as far back as the 5th millennium BC. Egyptian civilization coalesced around 3150 BC with the political unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under the first pharaoh. They don’t need an excuse to go after each other from a country that didn’t come into existence until about 5000 years after their first conflicts. When in the world did CNN think we turned into someone that important? It makes identifying their efforts to attack Trump so easy if you have enough electricity between your ears to breath. They don’t!

If there is credible evidence the attack originated from Iranian territory....there will be a strike on Iran. I don’t think with all that’s gone on with Iran over the last couple of years, Trump would allow an attack like this skate.

We are (finally) energy independent, and should react accordingly. This Trump “Dividend” allows us to stand back and let the Arabs handle this.

Quite a coincidence that anti-Iran hawk John Bolton leaves office and a few days later the Iranians supposedly attack the Saudis. It seems to me that every time Pres. Trump attempts to pull back from our Middle East entanglements, something like this quickly ensues. I seem to recall a similar move towards disengagement right before the tanker attacks and seizures started. I suspect that somebody (or multiple somebodies) does not want us to leave the Middle East to stew in its own juices.
