Given their habitual overreach and tone deafness I believe they actually will try to send people door to door to seize firearms. They will be shocked, absolutely shocked, at the response they get.

The Brits tried to take Americans arms in 1775.
Didn’t work out well for them.
The Obama administration bought thousands of assault vehicles and kept them in storage. I’ve wondered since what they how they planned to use them. Door to door raids seemed like a possibility.
Let me rephrase that another way.
Republicans will give to in to evil inches at time and call it a bipartisan compromise. They will do this repeatedly until there is nothing left to concede.
Unless I am incorrect, and President Trump is more than an outlier, this is exactly the way it is going to happen. Outside of the president himself can anyone here tell me how the Republican party as a whole has changed for the better since 2016?

If the left passed unconstitutional laws we practice noncompliance, nullify juries, perform acts of civil disobedience, and, if need be, more. There would be a few, but I really doubt there would be more than a few who would just relinquish their firearms without a struggle.
Good article. I think the SWAT raids will come, it only after they have declared a “National Mandatory Buy Back”, and the “hard liners” miss the deadline. Most people in America will hand over their guns. Keyboard Warrior talk is cheap.
The author thinks that the Left is calm, cool, calculating and collected. Well, some of them are - which is why they’ve been pretty successful. But most of them are the exact opposite - which explains them over-reaching on numerous occasions.
In this particular case, it is a fantasy, combined with a political goal, to forcibly seize weapons from the Deplorables, and to kill us outright in the process or else drag us away to prison. They will not be able to resist that impulse, any more than a starving dog can resist a juicy, succulent steak dangling 6 inches in front of its face. They LONG for the gulags here - which is why I’m confident that they will overreach and force a civil war upon this nation.

You won't find a whole lot of people to talk to.

The author of the piece (and the piece he linked) is correct. They’ll find out who the gun owners are, and come after many using stealth. They will arrest you at work. They will arrest you in parking lots. Or going to the school play with your kids. Then, once you’re locked up, they will destroy your life. Legal bills will bankrupt your family. You will lose your job, your house, and your savings. Word will spread. That’s what they want.
