I have never responded to a “Rush” thread as I usually can’t listen as I’m at work. However, I was able to listen to the end of segment #2 on Friday for 15 minutes when the “fake” environmentalist was on the show——he was “playing her” then said he’d be right back with what that was all about. Sadly I had to get on another call——what was the synopsis or outcome?

Monday is here already? This is an outrage and I demand a recount.
I didn't expect them to move on Kavanaugh this quickly, but the Democrats are desperate to change the news away from favoring President Trump.
Nader doesn’t have the votes.Hence this article.
I'm guessing that their fallback plan is that if they can't stop Trump from replacing Ginsburg with a conservative, they will try to remove a conservative that can be replaced with a liberal when the Democrat beats Trump in 2020.
I don't think Trump will lose, but the Democrats would be negligent in their wickedness if they didn't try to set the table that way, just in case something unexpected happens.

Being retired, I don’t like weekends. Too much hassle to shop. Monday’s arrival is always welcome to me. Fox News from 9 am-2 pm is better on weekdays.

Wow, Rush is dramatically inconsistent from day to day. I’m thinking he can’t be far from retiring.
Their strategy is simple: Democrats need to open up a slot on SCOTUS to put a liberal back after Trump replaces Ginsburg with a conservative.
Kavanaugh is their target of opportunity to create a vacancy for a future Democrat president.
Icing on the cake is that if they can do it in the next few months, it opens up the Senate Judiciary Committee as a free platform for Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, and Amy Klobuchar to campaign from.

Good call! Thankfully, this blew up in their faces almost as fast as they printed it. Kavanaugh isn’t going anywhere.
I have a different take.
IMO, the left is just laying the groundwork for the $#!tstorm that will hit whoever POTUS nominates to replace RBG.
Time will tell.

I wonder how this would help them against a nominee like Amy Coney Barrett? She's not a sexual predator -- are they going to use their manufactured charges against Kavanaugh as a litmus test to question future candidates?
Maybe Democrats will use this to ask future Trump nominees if they have any concerns working with Kavanaugh after everything "we've learned" about him, and make it a disqualifier if they say they believe him over his accusers?
