Interesting.

I wonder how this would help them against a nominee like Amy Coney Barrett? She's not a sexual predator -- are they going to use their manufactured charges against Kavanaugh as a litmus test to question future candidates?

Maybe Democrats will use this to ask future Trump nominees if they have any concerns working with Kavanaugh after everything "we've learned" about him, and make it a disqualifier if they say they believe him over his accusers?

I am also wondering how they’re going to attack Amy Coney Barrett. Paint her as a crazy? Demean and belittle her, ala Sarah Palin?

Methinks this whole Kavanaugh Round #2 is because Ruthie isn’t feeling as well as they’ve tried to portray. Time to remind everyone considering a SC justice position that they and their families will be put through HELL. Only lefties need apply for the position.

Also, the charge leads to the “weight of evidence” of the president’s inability to choose good nominees for SCOTUS.....or whatever.

Just another stone in the foundation of the premise that Trump is too incompetent to fill the duties of his office.

You don’t fell a tree with only one whack of the axe.
