"Those Interested will need parental permission." Because we all know no one has EVER forged their folks signature on anything. Right. As to 'mare duh commieO's' comment about only 10 years left, do these assclowns have a dart board to pick which time cycle we have left before we all die? Indoctrination centers writ large here. Okay kiddies, here's a little homework for you:

1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.

3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.

4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.

5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.

6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.

7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

Greta Thunburg is in the U.S. She was the official figurehead of climate strikes marching out of school in Sweden. We know she’s a figurehead because teachers and administrators forced people to join. And punished those that didn’t.

Swedish schoolgirl who refused to take part in one of campaigner Greta Thunberg’s ‘climate strikes’ is ‘bullied by her own teacher’ and labelled a ‘climate denier’

“We applaud our students when they raise their voices in a safe and respectful manner on issues that matter to them,” another district tweet read.

Will the New York City schools issue excused absences, for students who miss school, to raise their voices in a safe and respectful manner on the issue of our 2nd amendment rights?

What about our 1st amendment rights, if students want to attend a safe and respectful rally for the pro life cause?

If they are saying, that the criteria here are, that they excuse students who want to raise their voices in a safe and respectful manner on issues of the day, do they really mean it, for ALL issues?

I’d also add...when, in the history of the world, has the climate NOT changed?

Yeah, cause when I was a snot nosed kid in school I’d sure like a reason to bail out of classes for a day. Especially if I was scheduled to take a test.

In my career I have known many students who never passed up a chance to ditch a day of school under the guise of social activism.

I would always schedule a 200 point test for those days. Questions for the students that stayed were

What is your name?

What is my name?

How old are you?

School district policy said I had to allow a make-up test. So I scheduled them for after school in two parts, one part a day. Each part was a six week test from previous class materials.

I think it’s great. Let them all skip school all the time. Think of the zillions of dollars we’d save, and the outcome couldn’t be worse than what we have now.

Cool - I think it’s time for schools to support gun rights strikes too.

It also means New York City schools MUST provide excused absences to take place in pro-life marches, pro-ICE marches and support for MAGA.

When you begin to read this you'll probably wonder what this has to do with kids skipping school for some leftwing demonstrations. If you read on, you'll find out.

Back in 1969, I took a day off from work to attend the last game of the World Series. I didn't have tickets and when I don't for a sold out event like that I usually wind up buying several tickets, picking the best one I get, and selling the others back.

Selling the tickets, even for face value, is or was against the law in NY. My purchaser was an undercover cop. My extra ticket was confiscated, and I was given the equivalent of a traffic ticket with a mandatory appearance in court.

So my day in court came up. Lots of people were there mostly for the same reason I was and I had to wait my turn while other people told their story to the judge.

Some poor kid who was the first to be asked why he wasn't in school on the day he was caught selling a ticket told the judge it was Moratorium Day. The judge ripped him a new @$$#0!e.

Things have sure changed in New York since the!
