I feel the same way. I ask myself who would potentially gain from us attacking Iran in this deal. I think back to John Bolton. Others might say Israel. I am no scholar and am most likely wrong.
The US has already attacked Iran and is actually killing them. The Trump imposed sanctions are effectively destroying the Iranian economy.
President effecticely, very effectively, went to war with Iran months ago and is winning big time
Many here fail to appreciate that Trump fights with sanctions rather than bombs. He is winning in Iran and China and North Korea with out firing a single shot
