You raise valid points. I don’t know why the police aren’t moving against the ‘teen’. I was just describing why the school district may have acted as it did. As for the kid’s IEP, that info is going to be kept a closely guarded secret by the school and all of its employees.
The teacher may well be disciplined for reporting the crime to the police as absurd as that might sound. The district might be very reluctant to cooperate with the police in their enquires.
