You don’t murder someone that has the goods released when they go missing.
It was scripted as a suicide so that NY State law on estates would allow the assets to be disposed within 7 months. That way the victims and their attorneys would have no way to pursue damage; a ‘suicide’ takes away financial incentive and most attorneys won’t work without compensation.
The July ‘suicide’ attempt was a dry run. The muscular cellmate as murderer was a backup role in case the medical examiner didn’t play along.
Entire thing was scripted.
