I cut the chord. All I wanted was CSPAN (which costs the cable provider pennies) and a stronger signal for local channels. They were incapable of keeping the price reasonable. With antenna, I get strong signals for NBC, CBS and a lot of antenna stations showing old shows. Surviving just fine.
After the many miles away “local” channels cut their signal power, many people can not longer get anything with an antenna.
