Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) isnt taking another presidential run off the table at least for 2024.
The Republican lawmaker who dropped his 2016 presidential bid after trying to win over voters against now-President Donald Trump in the Republican primary is open to a future presidential run.
In hopes of becoming the Republican nominee in 2016, Cruz fell short, as his support among voters declined in comparison to those backing then-front-runner Trump. A Gallup poll conducted in late April of 2016 shows Cruz at a 45% unfavorability rating among Republican voters, jumping from an unfavorability rating in the teens at the beginning of the year.
In an interview with The Christian Science Monitor published on Thursday, Cruz, however, is sharing how hed be open to taking another shot at it.
Look, I hope to run again, Cruz said, adding, We came very, very close in 2016. And its the most fun Ive ever had in my life.

PUKE!
Look, I hope to run again, Cruz said, adding, We came very, very close in 2016. And its the most fun Ive ever had in my life.”
“And when I win, I pledge to work to undue all the horrible things Trump did to this once great country.”
Puke is right. He’s nothing but a wall street thug through and thorough. No vote from me. [ Globiist].
Read Teddy’s “Book” he and people like US Sen Ben Sasse are nothing more than BUSHBOTS(G*D I HATE THAT BASTARD “Family”)!
Yes!
I see you ... but, whos that behind you, Ted.
He is not qualified and he not only lost, but was thoroughly rejected. He barely won re-election and that was only with Trumps help. He is a loser who apparently hasnt figured that out yet.
After 8 years of President Trump with his high energy level and bulldog level tenacity in seeing every promise made through no matter the opposition, it will be difficult for a guy that has spent his adult life in politics to get elected based solely on a resume of nothing more than, I’m a professional politician.
Not to mention Cruz’ extremely annoying speaking style and his general unlikability.
Yes, unforgettable.
Why are you lumping him with those clowns?
Read his book to find out about Teddy.
One of the reasons that every 8 years, people turn to a different party.
hahahaha.
One of the reasons that every 8 years, people turn to a different party.
If I’m not mistaken, when George H.W. Bush won the 1988 election, that was the first time in many decades, that a president running to succeed an incumbent, was of the same political party as the incumbent.
As much as we all hope and pray that 2020 results in a Trump victory, history would suggest that 2024 could well see a Democrat elected. And with today’s radical Democrats in charge, such an election could be a great leap forward for the socialization of America.
