President Donald Trump confirmed Saturday a son of Osama bin Laden was killed during a U.S.-led counterterrorism operation along the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The loss of Hamza bin Ladin not only deprives al-Qaida of important leadership skills and the symbolic connection to his father, but undermines important operational activities of the group. Hamza bin Ladin was responsible for planning and dealing with various terrorist groups, he continued.
It is unclear when Hamza bin Laden died, though it has been reported it was between 2017 and 2019.
The State Department put out a $1 million reward for information on Hamza bin Ladens whereabouts earlier this year.

So will Nadler add “murder of Hamza bin Ladin” to the list of high crimes and misdemeanors that President Trump will be accused of in the impeachment process?
He has about 40 sons, though, right?
“They dont know when he was killed? I do not believe this. What so-called proof do they have?”
It may be that they had communications intelligence on him. Maybe they would hear about meetings, etc. and strike those places.
Maybe after a year or two of playing whack-a-mole any communications about the guy dried up. Of course he may have just slipped away to Switzerland to enjoy the good life.
Old news, he was killed about a month ago. Who cares as long as he’s dead. Ideally it would have been napalm or willy Peter.
Would be nice - I guess he pulled a Hillary and channeled a dead person....only did too good a job.
