Palestinian women prefer to marry wounded terrorists who receive a PA salary, rather than jobless university grads Palestinians in Gaza are rioting because of "their preference to be wounded (and receive a PA allowance -Ed) rather than remain unemployed and without a livelihood"
By Nan Jacques Zilberdik and Itamar Marcus
Wounded Palestinian terrorists are popular as marriage material because of the lifetime monthly financial reward the Palestinian Authority is paying them.
On a program on official Palestinian Authority TV about young Palestinian women leaving the Gaza Strip due to the difficult financial situation, the TV host explained that young Palestinian women prefer marrying "wounded" men because they get a steady monthly salary from the PA, rather than marrying healthy university graduates who are unemployed:
Official PA TV host: "The young women have actually begun to prefer young men who, let's say, are wounded or have a wound, because in the end they have a monthly salary from the [PA] Ministry of Social Affairs, from the prisoners' institution, or from the institution for the wounded. For [the women], they [the wounded] are preferable to young men who have studied at university or have no kind of [physical] problems and therefore have no source of income." [Official PA TV, Sea Breeze, July 20, 2019]
A statement by former PA Minister of Prisoners' Affairs Ashraf Al-Ajrami seems to underscore this tendency. Al-Ajrami stated that Palestinians in Gaza "prefer to be wounded" during confrontations with Israel at the security fence rather than "remain unemployed and without a livelihood" - implying that the wounded become eligible for the lifetime monthly financial rewards the PA pays to imprisoned and wounded terrorists as well as to the families of dead terrorists - the so-called "Martyrs":
"In the Gaza strip a marked decline can be seen in the participation in the weekly marches (refers to the violent March of Return riots in Gaza; see note below -Ed.). This is despite the fact that participation there has been reinforced by free transports, sandwiches, and sometimes by the participants' desire to break free of the misery in which they are living as a result of the siege and tragic situation under which the Gaza Strip residents are buckling, and their preference to be wounded rather than remain unemployed and without a livelihood." [Al-Ayyam, Aug. 7, 2019]
Palestinian Media Watch has worked extensively with foreign governments after exposing the PA's policy of rewarding terrorists and murderers with salaries. PMW's efforts ultimately led to the United States passing the Taylor Force Act and Israel's passing what is known as the Anti "Pay-for-Slay" Law.
Israel's Anti "Pay-for-Slay" Law - Israeli law stating that the PA payments to terrorists and the families of dead terrorists is a financial incentive to terror. The law instructs the state to deduct and freeze the amount of money the PA pays in salaries to imprisoned terrorists and families of "Martyrs" from the tax money Israel collects for the PA. Should the PA stop these payments for a full year, the Israeli government would have the option of giving all or part of the frozen money to the PA.
The law was enacted by the Israeli Parliament on July 2, 2018, and its first implementation was approved by Israel's Security Cabinet on Feb. 17, 2019, when it decided to withhold 502,697,000 Israeli shekels (approximately $138 million) from the PA. In response, the PA announced it would not accept any of the tax money collected by Israel unless it also included the frozen amount.
During the initial parliamentary vote in 2018, the law's sponsor Avi Dichter said: "The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee received much help in its deliberations... from Palestinian Media Watch who provided us with authentic data that enabled productive and professional deliberations, nuances that are very difficult to achieve without precise data." [Israeli Parliament website, July 2, 2018]
"March of Return" refers to massive violent riots in Gaza, in which thousands of Palestinians are rioting on the border with Israel and attempting to cut through the security fence, attacking with firebombs, flaming kites, and gunfire. The riots began on March 30, 2018, and were scheduled to last for 6 weeks until Palestinian "Nakba" Day on May 15. On the day the US embassy opened in Jerusalem, May 14, 2018, the
Palestinian attacks escalated and 62 Palestinians were killed. A senior official of the terror organization Hamas, Salah Bardawil, stated that 50 of the 62 belonged to Hamas, while Islamic Jihad identified 3 others as belonging to it.
The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, an Israeli research institute, published research documenting that from the start of the riots on March 30 until May 15, 93 of the 112 Palestinians killed in the riots (approximately 83%) were members of terror organizations. Petitions against the IDF's use of live fire to combat the rioting submitted by organizations that advocate for Palestinian rights were rejected by Israel's Supreme Court on May 24, 2018. The court accepted the state's argument that the riots were "organized and directed" by Hamas, a terror organization, and thereby rejecting the claim that the riots were peaceful and civilian in nature. PMW reports were referred to in the Supreme Court's decision.
The terms "the prisoners' institution" and "the institution for the wounded" used by the host on official PA TV apparently refer to the PLO Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the PLO Families of the Martyrs and Wounded Institution.
Who doesn’t?
Sounds like a type of Universal Basic Income. Which dem will suggest this for Antifa types who get injured during a riot?
How does the PA get the money to pay these terrorists?
Ask Pompeo.
Makes sense to me, that they prefer someone with an income to some jobless university graduate.
There will be no peace with the Palestinians, until something is done about the people who give them money to keep the conflict going.
The problem of Arabian societies are big families and few resources to exploit by labor. In short way too many people with nothing to do and little to eat. And they are envious to people who doesn’t have such problems. That makes perpetual war. Big oil somehow changed it but due to their tribal traditions only a few enjoy it.
Could be the women are saying two things, by this. Both of which make complete sense to me.
First off, they are perhaps most importantly saying, they want to marry a guy who will LIVE.
That wasn’t even mentioned in this article, but I think that is a primary concern of women. For real.
Then as mentioned, in the article.
I do not believe, women are motivated by a guy who is going to do things which are harmful, to him.
That is not what women are motivated by.
Just another way fo’ Gubbmint to be yo’ Baby Daddy.
Where do these women find these hunks?
PaliSugarDaddy.com?
On the other hand, if one hand has been blown off, that certainly helps decrease the beatings.
