The most recent data from NASA shows a decline in sea level.
Inconvenient: NASA shows global sea level pausing, instead of rising
Guess thats why bammy bought beach front property!
Thanks for the data.
If that data is correct it means seas have risen 3.1 inches in 20 years (1995 - 2015) which is higher than I would have thought. In any event it will take a while for Miami to be significantly affected.
The oceans are rising at 3 mm per year ...
But, there’s 305 mm in one foot
So, it will take 100 years for the oceans to rise just 1 foot ... no wonder the Obamas are buying oceanfront property in Martha’s Vinyard
Back in the day, I used to measure tiny things - white blood cells, viruses, stuff like that. I worked with people who measured molecules.
Now, I’m not confident in a method that measures variations in the level of ALL THE WATER ON EARTH in millimeters, while said water is constantly in motion and subject to gravitational forces from the sun and the moon, as well as constant variance in surface atmosphere pressure.
To boil it down, the whole thing sounds like BS.
