What a joke. Thousands of retirees flock to Central America every year to enjoy the benign climate and easy going lifestyle.

By world standards, Central America is hardly impoverished. I've noticed that none of the "refugees" are starving, bedraggled, or lacking the latest sport clothes and smartphone. And none of them lacks a round little tummy.

I'm sure that legitimate refugees from places like Syria and Yemen would find Central America a paradise, and be grateful to live there, given the opportunity.

So what's the problem? Why aren't the Latino beaners content—no free stuff.
