But Roberts pays attention to media coverage. As chief justice, he is keenly aware of his leadership role on the court, and he also is sensitive to how the court is perceived by the public.

Then he is precisely the WRONG man for the job, and he needs to be removed.

A Chief Justice needs to be principled. As it stands the WaPo and CNN are casting the tie-breaking votes at SCOTUS.

Can Trump replace his as Chief Justice, promoting a Justice who actually rules by our Constitution? If he is forced to step back, it might be easier for him to retire and then he could live any which way he wanted. He is not SCOTUS material (as are a few others not Constitution followers, on that High Court)
