Sadly, English is slowly dying because so few people have even a vaguely decent vocabulary now. Many of the once commonly used words are now complete mysteries to most; which is terrible, because these words are much more "evocative" and useful than the stupid gutter slang that far too many now use.

... and that ultimately makes its way into the next edition of Webster’s dictionary.
