Actually have a quite bit of time in the Marchetti, just not with them. Pretty sure you enjoyed it because its magic. Second nicest plane Ive ever flown - until the engine goes out, of course ( 5000 ft/ min best rate of sink can really ruin your day if you dont always have a plan, be on task and think really fast)
You got that right on airline pilots. Amazed at the number of airline pilots who have never been inverted, pulled more than 2 g or spun an airplane more times than absolutely required for certification - more amazed at number who have absolutely no interest in doing so.
BTW learned to fly in ratty looking but well maintained WWII surplus Taylor Craft L-2s with hand prop and no electrical system -and with Amelia Reid in the back instructing
Nobody will ever be able to convince me women dont make outstanding pilots
Flying is about the best thing there is in life so you are very fortunate
Seriously though, on dating side the best guys always seem to materialize when you are not looking and least expect them. Really sucks to miss out when a once in a life time suddenly materializes but you pass because you werent looking
Best wishes and best luck
Yeah, thanks. Somebody will come along I can’t ignore. BTW, I also fly a Caravan jump plane - I always beat the last jumper down.
