A potential mass shooting was averted last week when a father tipped off Fort Worth police about his son’s intent to buy guns and officers found the man, police said.
The 27-year-old white male, whose identity wasn’t released, stated he was inspired by the recent shootings in Midland and Odessa and wanted to “kill as many” people as he could, according to Officer Buddy Calzada, a police spokesman. He has been checked into a local clinic to receive mental health care, police said.
The father of the man called police last Tuesday, Sept. 3, and reported his son had withdrawn money and told him he was going to buy guns. Officers had interacted with the man before, who was known to have several mental health issues, police said.
He was unable to buy guns at several businesses because he failed his background check, police said.
Police located him west of downtown Fort Worth. He had $600 to $700 in cash on him and he told officers he was going to buy a gun off the street.

He’ll probably be released next week if they haven’t already done so. If he then goes on to kill many people this incident will be buried by the MSM and the gun control nuts.

So, even though it didn’t happen will the demokkkommies use it as another case of reason to ban something just to say they did something? So, how come when the had the house and senate and offal office they didn’t “Git ‘er done!”?
I sometimes wonder if there is not a deep Dark Web site for suicidal crazies to see if they can outdo each other in killing people before they are killed.

How much more clear than this does it have to get before the MSM admits that THEY and (anti)-”Social Media” are the true insoiration of the alleged increase in these incidents?

Contrast this with an urban shooting and a suspect on the loose and the description we get is, 'the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt' (which can be discarded or changed).
That wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

So, he had failed several background checks? One can buy drugs off almost street corner without a doctor's prescription, too. Buying an illegal gun to murder a bunch of people shouldn't be too hard with that kind of money.
Even if guns for honest people were banned, I'm sure the cartels and criminal gangs would step up to supply a gun for a price just like they do in every other country. Just like drugs, or prostitutes, or little kids, or...
