She has two choices: try to be more Left than the rest, or go for being the only rational moderate. She CAN’T be more Left than Warren and Bernie, so this is her only option.

Tulsi may outlast them all. When only four or five Dem front runners are left, and American democrat voters, as dunderheaded and confused as they are, but not as radical as their leadership, realizes they are looking any one of a number of uncharismatic loons, losers and America haters, they may finally glance at Tulsi, and by then there will be a track record of all the semi sane things she's said.

This go around she's probably still too much of a lightweight, but in 4 years ... well worse things could happen to the democrats than Tulsi, and given that the country at least for the foreseeable future is going to have a Democrat party ... worse things could happen to the country. She's probably our least worst option. I.e. if you're going to get cancer and there's no way around it, this is the one you'd pick.
