More than a quarter of Democrats say it should be against the law to join pro-gun rights organizations such as the National Rifle Association (NRA), according to a Rasmussen poll.
Rasmussen Reports, which is known to lean conservative, found that 28 percent of Democrats say affiliating with pro-gun rights organizations such as the NRA should be illegal, compared to 15 percent of Republicans and 10 percent of those unaffiliated with a party.
The NRA has more than 5 million members, according to Rasmussen Reports.
The poll also found that 32 percent of Democrats favor declaring the NRA a terrorist organization in their home communities, while 14 percent of Republicans and 20 percent of unaffiliated voters agree.

What a coincidence! I think it should be illegal to be a member of the Democrat Party. I guess everyone has an opinion on something.

100 percent of Republicans believe that it should be illegal to belong to the Democrat Party on grounds that it is an Organized Criminal Enterprise.

Planned Parenthood has physically murdered thousands of innocent babies.
Last time I check, the NRA hasn't murdered anyone with their lobbying efforts.

So, according to this poll more that a quarter of democrats asked felt it should be illegal to join an organization they don’t happen to approve of. It’s becoming obvious that a sizable part of our nation just doesn’t buy into its founding document. So much for ‘freedom of association’. Freedom of religion—bake the cake!. Freedom of speech—that’s hate speech! And the right to keep and bear arms, well the words of the 2nd amendment either don’t mean what you think they mean or the amendment was put in because of racism and should be ignored.
It used to be that we branded people who refused to honor the Constitution as ‘anti or un American’. Now they are a big part of one of our two main political parties. I don’t know how this turns out well.

At least on state or major city (forget which) has declared the NRA a terrorist organization, I guess subject to those laws when in that jurisdiction.
If this gets any traction it would be the only reason I would join Wayne’s World again. Got tired of paying for his suits but if the dems want to go down that path it would be the greatest membership drive in NRA history.
Wow. 28% of Democrats would make it a crime to join the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the US.
I would never have thought to ask such an absurd question. Even membership in inherently evil organizations such as the Democrat Party, their old partners (the Klan), the Democrats’ ideological twin (Communist Party USA), and Planned Parenthood is and ought to be legal. The First Amendment’s freedom of association applies to everyone, just as the Second Amendment does.
So didn’t some liberal buy out Rasmussen out? Is this poll reasonable, I do not trust polls.
It should be illegal to be a democrat.
