What I don’t understand is the great effort that a lot of ‘hip’ young women seem to go to these days to look downright ugly. They WORK at it!

During WW2, while Dad was off to the war and meat was rationed, we raised rabbits. As the oldest child,it fell to me to butcher them whenever Mother needed meat for the table. They tasted good,but I never really got comfortable with the process. It was especially bad when one of them started screeching partway through the process.

However, our cat enjoyed the fresh liver and kidneys I'd give him as I them out. He'd come running when he heard me sharpening the knife.

Years ago I recall horror stories of these types of criminals releasing thousands of mink from their pens. Domestic mink in the wild don’t do well. IIRC they start eating their own pretty quick.

The farmer (rancher??) might get a thousand back into the pens, with ten thousand dead out in the woods.

Outfits like ‘PETA’ and a lot of the other ‘animal rights’ followers don’t care very much about animals. In many cases, they know and understand very little about animals.

They care about their own egotistical ideas because believing in those ideas makes them ‘feel good’ - about themSELVES!
