That “joining a growing group” BS really took off when the earliest Monica sex scandal broke with Bill Clinton.

They had articles and radio and TV stories showing “everybody’s doing it” to help him blend in as just another male cheater out of control sex fiend like everybody’s husband, father, brother or neighbor. All males are toxic, evil and to blame. Timely then: Research shows everybody is a liar. Study shows huge increase in adultery since 1940s.

Thus, CVS will say Nike,Gillette,Wal Mart and now they are on the leftist virtue signaling bandwagon. “Love us, kiss us, give us your money.” So each private business can make a firm ruling on the existence of 2nd Amendment rights. CVS rules one way, someone else rules the other way.

The US Constitution is a great document-—unless you try to live by it. What if all the banks, credit card companies, stores and pharmacies say “we disagree with and rule against the freedom of all people from slavery and the right of women to vote. Sorry about that.”

CVS, go chase yourself in freeway traffic. Just stopped by on my way to Walgreen’s to tell you that.

So CVS and the others are going to be 100% responsible for my safety and well being? Won’t do me a bit of good if I am in one of their stores and get killed during a robbery, but maybe my survivors can go after them. In a just world, they would be held responsible for this policy in some form or another.
In this world, the first question will be, “Did you need to be in the store at that time?” and it becomes my fault for being there. Guess I can start going back to military hospital for stuff and/or have them mail it to me.

NO! As for the CVS statement, this is a no gun policy, creating another gun free (target rich) zone. I will cc at CVS as I always have...and, if I do it correctly, I’m the only one who knows a firearm is nearby. This is NOT the same policy put forward by Walgreens and Walmart, requesting no open carry. A VERY different and stupid business strategy on the part of CVS.

Future lawsuit-rich environment! Thanks cvs! And we all know how deep your pockets are! LOL

In all seriousness, the only reason they are doing this is to appease the social justice warriors. They never know when the next busload of “grassroot” protestors are gonna arrive at the door and for what reason. Reasons change hourly. These fascist leftists are so freaking insane even they don’t know what the next protest is going to be about.

All they had to do was NOT be crazy.......

CVS was in the forefront to remove tobacco products from their stores.

"WE DID SOMETHING!". Of course no impact to CCW. Or bad guys who don't give a 💩 about their request.

I must be slow - I don’t get it.

The few times I go into a CVS or other “drug store” there are virtually empty. They have one or two customers, and at least one of them looks more like a shoplifter. I seriously doubt that they have many open carry customers. So why needlessly alienate so many?

They can’t stop me from going there (not without a confrontation that I guarantee they are too frightened to initiate) but now I’ll only patronize if there is no alternative.

There’s one other thing that these bozos haven’t figured out yet - If they prevent me from defending myself they assume liability for anything that occurs while I am in their store.

They are going to regret their shortsightedness.

I’ll bring in my firearms to any CVS store that I enter, whether they like it or not. They cannot guarantee my security.

I will be carrying concealed - for tactical reasons only, not because I give a rat’s ass about setting off the snowflakes (though, of course, I’d rather not leave the store and be faced by 20 cops pointing guns at me, as enjoyable as setting off snowflakes actually is).

Ask all you want...until you actually ban them, I’m bringing them.

They can request all they want. In Texas though, for their request to carry any weight, they have to post the proper signage.

If CVS takes out a $10,000,000 indemnity policy protecting me from an armed criminal in their store, I’ll consider leaving my gun at home.

Till then, I’ll protect myself.
