That's cool but where are they going to get the gasoline to run them? Gas stations destroyed and those that weren't have no electricity to run the pumps or cash registers........

This story sounds a little sketchy. First I highly doubt Costco would have over 100 generators in stock. Second lots of arrangements would have to be made for pickup and delivery etc. I dont think you just go stand in line and say ill take a hundred of those

Because wind and solar are not the best technical solution for emergency needs like running refrigerators to keep medicine stable. Solar will be part of the solution during rebuilding because the solar resource is abundant in tropical locations and it can be installed at the effective scale needed. You can’t just plug a fridge into a solar panel but you can pour a gallon of gas into a generator and have power right away.

They use petroleum products as fuel. Nobody sending solar powered generators. Wondering what the Sailing Swede has to say about that.

With a warning of a Cat 5 hitting Florida, I’m surprised Costco didn’t have more than 100 in stock.

The generators are free but the gas is $50/gal.

Didn’t California want to ban small engines because of pollution? What will this due to accelerate climate change?
Is this guy trying to save lives or poison the earth?

The journalism on Grand Bahama has gone to crickets. Why?

Hard to blame recovery efforts on Trump, it's not associated with the U'S' and Bahamians are not soon to be the largest voting bloc in the USA like Hispanics will. So in one word, or two; it's political.

The narrative is out to pin the Bahamas on the Trump Administration. No matter what government or compassionate civilians do,the left always finds the way to turn crisis into political gain. I just f-ing hate the left.

There are other islands in the Bahamas that were not damaged...it’s a very large island group.
