Obama White House ran the Weiner email investigation with the aid of the corrupt FBI and DOJ. Now we know the corrupt FBI didn’t even search Weiner’s laptop till after the 2016 election and then somehow have misplaced Weiner’s iPhone and iPad.
We raised this question in April 2018 – Why would Mueller, Comey, Hillary and the Deep State go all in to remove President Trump from office? Their actions are more like rabid dogs than sore losers.

Anthony Weiner was sentenced to nearly 2 years in prison in September 2017 for sexting minors. The pervert was Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer’s protégé and is married to Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s favorite aide during the 2016 Presidential campaign.
When NYPD investigated Weiner’s crime for texting minors sometime in and around 2016 they obtained his computer that at least one source said included up to 650,000 emails related to corruption, pay-for-play and more heinous crimes implicating a number of individuals including the Clintons and other liberal elites. It’s suspected that this was Weiner’s insurance in case he ever needed it. Instead it landed into the hands of the authorities as a result of him texting minors.

I’d read that when a PD confiscates a computer the first thing they do is duplicate the hard drive. They then investigate using the duplicate so as not to take a chance of compromising the original.
Supposedly, the NYPD did exactly that in this case. They were “only” investigating Carlos Danger for his sex perversions involving children. When they stumbled on the “Insurance” folder containing Hillary’s stuff, that was gravy.
So when the FBI took the laptop, did they take the duplicate hard drive, too? If not, then who has it?
True? I don’t know. IIRC, Rudy has mentioned this - maybe a year ago or longer.
Yet another example in and endless stream that proves our government agencies are fundamentally corrupt. We can try to rearrange the country’s deck chairs but the result is pretty much inevitable at this point. The swamp runs the show, the bad guys will win.

You may remember that Barr’s federal agents descended on Randy Weaver’s Idaho compound in August, 1992, and (1) shot weaver in the back; (2) shot Weaver’s wife Vicki to death, while she was holding her infant son; (3) shot Weaver’s 14 year-old son to death; and (4) shot Weaver’s dog.

I remember it well that way; Comey assured us that the FBI had reviewed several hundred thousand emails in detail that were found on Weiner’s laptop but found nothing. All in 48 hours! And the only retribution the crooked agency has gotten from DOJ is that Trump vetoed their plans to build a costly new palace headquarters in the suburbs that would cost billions - let them stew in their concrete fort downtown.
