Or called Alyssa's bluff?
She's dumber than a bag of hammers and was well on her way to being a formerly cute, over-the-hill harpy. Ted just gave her a life jacket and a microphone; her Hollyweird/Prog friends will take it from there.
If this debate happens, I predict two things:
1. Cruz will be prepared, have arguments based on facts vs. feelings, cite relevant laws, and not fall into the trap of it becoming an episode of Jerry Springer.
2. Milano will attempt to make her argument on emotion, of appeal on an emotional level. She will lose traction and begin to make this a personal attack, likely by calling Cruz responsible for recent shootings in his home state of TX. It will end with Milano storming off. Leftist Media will run with the sound bites.
I think highly of Ted Cruz, and hope he demonstrates what it means when we say “The adults are in charge.”
I’m in the ‘called her bluff’ camp. If Ted did indeed use the word ‘bull-shiite’ in the text, she almost HAS to accept or face lack of guts comments in the twit-verse and elsewhere.
