Interesting about satellite feed...used to have it here. Got rid of it because it could not transmit through a thunderstorm. Drove us nuts because we get thunderstorms every day during summer.

On the other hand, when a hurricane blew through the satellite dish never lost a pixel, not a blip through the storm. Weird!

The thing that interferes with small satellite dishes is if there is something between the LNB that sticks out in front, and the dish itself. A cover or even a garbage bag over the dish assembly can prevent interference from snow or heavy rain.
