The thing that interferes with small satellite dishes is if there is something between the LNB that sticks out in front, and the dish itself. A cover or even a garbage bag over the dish assembly can prevent interference from snow or heavy rain.

Interesting info about satellite reception. I can’t imagine what interfered with our satellite on the roof during thunderstorms.

I live in Orange County right next to Orlando (Winter Park.) Schools are closed tomorrow and Wednesday. It has been suggested we have everything done and be “in place” by tonight. We have had one squall line go through today. How bad it gets depends on what this storm decides to do. Some people have boarded up, but most have not.
