US police fired pepper spray Saturday after counter-demonstrators accused them of protecting "Straight Pride" advocates who support President Donald Trump, and refused to let officers re-open a road.
The unrest came after the counter-protesters and "Straight Pride" group -- considered homophobic extremists by their opponents -- staged dueling rallies in Boston.
There was no serious violence during the rallies themselves, which involved groups of several hundred.

“Counter-protesting” sounds an awfully lot like “conspiracy to deny Constitutional rights”, especially when it so predictably leads to violence initiated by “counter-protesting” terrorists.
They protect US Americans.

I got a question. I have seen post of “Gay Pride” parades and I see a bunch of near naked people practically having sex while moving down the avenue. What do “Straight Pride” paraders do? Just hold hands? Or are we allowed to at least pretend to be having sex on the hood of a car too?
