That Trump turns on everyone?

The Chicoms are pushing everyone they can pressure, to promote their Party line for them in the USA.

They are calling for all hands on deck, as their super-tanker full of debt sham economy is heading for the rocks.

I support Trump as much as anyone but sometimes he needs to think before he posts. I know a lot of farmers who are Trump supporters but are really scared about these tariffs. I don’t see an upside in insulting them. I know Trump’s a lot smarter than me and there may be some 3D psychological chess going on here but I just don’t see the benefit in tweets like this.

The first major economy that stands to be gutted by communist China’s “Made in China 2025” industrial policy, is Germany’s precision machinery export model.

Don’t fantasize that they will come for you last.

That GM used taxpayer money to relocate factories to China is particularly infuriating.

Businesses that have relocated their supply chain there, or R&D etc. are all traitors to the American people and deserve what they get.

I’m supportive of a FULL EMBARGO of all goods sourced in China. It’s a National Security issue.

No matter WHAT concessions they make for a “deal”.

And those consumers who buy Chinese goods are complicit.

China’s plan to put tariffs on U.S. crude oil shows it is willing to take more economic pain in the trade war than some in the markets have expected, according to a Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s commodities analyst.

I am the CEO of a company that distributes products from US-based companies that manufacture their products in China. The tariffs, per se, have not caused the problems - we’ll simply pass on the price increases to our customers. The problem is that the on-again, off-again nature of the tariffs have frozen a lot of spending. Here’s an example: Trump comes back from Europe and says there’s been some phone calls with China and the possibility of a deal is imminent. We had several large orders placed on hold as customers now think that the prices may go down if there is a deal.

Trump may think I’m making excuses, but we’re not a poorly-run company. I’d gladly invite Trump to tell me where I can improve. When orders are cancelled it is hard to cover payroll- simple math. I know many on here believe he is playing 3-d chess but somedays it seems like he’s just throwing darts.

Some of our OEM’s are in the process of moving manufacturing out of China but that does not happen overnight. Markets hate unpredictability and grenade in the foxhole tweets don’t help. Trump has to remember he’s alienating his base with comments like these.
